Use of Sealants
Once you have had your driveway or patio professionally cleaned by Drive-Medic; it is worthwhile considering having the cleaned area treated with a specialist sealant.
Reasons to apply a sealant:
- Strengthens & maintains paving performance, as the sand is bonded by the sealant
- Reduces surface porosity, thereby resisting the penetration of stains
- Inhibits the growth of weeds, grass, algae and lichen
- Helps to prevent colonisation of ants
- Renders the area easier to maintain in the future
- Enhances the appearance, especially older paving blocks
K-Seal Total (Clear Patio Sealer)
Professional Resin Patio Sealer
FOR: Pavers/ Flags /Paving Slabs: "K-Seal Total" resin patio sealer and block paving sealer provides excellent surface protection for both driveways and patios.
Formulated using an advanced acrylic resin sealant, "K-Seal Total" repels both oil and water on block paving, concrete flagstones, paving slabs and porous tiles. "K-Seal Total" penetrates deep into the surface to protect against water and frost damage and also inhibits the growth of algae and moss.
For best results we use with K-Seal Patio Cleaner to give rapid and effective removal of all algae, moss and lichen from your block paving, patios or driveways before using the sealant.

Patioseal
Water Based Resin Sealer
FOR: Non-Glazed Teracotta Tiles/ Flagged Conservatories/ Light Traffic Outdoor. "Patioseal" is an eco-friendly water based resin sealer designed to protect block paving, patio flags and non-glazed tiles from water penetration and staining. Being water based it is ideal for indoor use on rustic, paved kitchen floors or natural, clay tiles requiring a surface sealer.
Also use to protect paving inside conservatories or green houses. Patioseal will delicately enhance the natural colour of your paving or tiles.

Restore-A-Drive (Pigmented Sealer)
"Restore-A-Drive" is an ALL-IN-ONE driveway resurfacing treatment that acts as both a block sealer and a colour restorer. Developed especially for resurfacing faded block paving and patio flags, "Restore-A-Drive" brings back the bright pleasing colours of new paving that sun, rain and frost wash away. It has an amazing transformational effect, especially on tired, distressed block paving.
We apply a single coat of "Restore-A-Drive" evenly by brush or roller. Making sure that the paving is completely dry before applying "Restore-A-Drive" and that rain is not expected within 4 hours of application.
For best results we pre-treat your paving with K-Seal Patio Cleaner to remove stains, moss, algae and lichens, and top up any gaps using Block Fill or Geofix before using Restore-a-drive and then finish with a coat of Ultimate Topcoat to provide enhanced protection and longeveity.

Ultimate Topcoat (Concrete Sealer)
"Ultimate Topcoat" is our "high-solids", multi-purpose, clear concrete sealer and dust proofer which can be applied to concrete and most paving materials. Applied as a Topcoat it is 100% compatible with K-SEAL TOTAL & RESTORE-A-DRIVE and will provide enhanced protection and longevity to any surface treated with these products. "Ultimate Topcoat" is also perfect as a floor sealer for new and existing concrete floors.
